"A rather popular site for visiting, you must be relatively physically fit in order to get around since there is tons of rock jumping involved. The water was rather polluted. Individuals are not allowed to swim in the water not it seems like a good idea to do so. Just be careful and not to fall off the cliff then you may enjoy the site safely"

We need to pay 200¥ at the entrance and go downhill to the granites.
It is recommended to wear some comfy sneakers or shoes as we need to climb through the rocks of different shapes. It is very dangerous during rainy season.

"A truly beautiful spot with vivid green-ish blue water and dramatic granite formations. Parking is available next to the entrance gate. We paid a small admission fee of 200 yen per adult at the wooden archway.
To reach the best vantage point you have to scramble over the granite bedrock. Some sections are steep enough that you’ll use your hands for balance, so sturdy, grippy shoes are essential. Just before the rocky stretch there’s a short section of very shallow stream crossing that can slightly wet your shoes, so be prepared for that too.
I didn’t do much research and showed up in a long skirt, which made the scramble more challenging, luckily my skirt is wide enough and I managed.
The effort is well rewarded by standing directly on the granite and looking down into the gorge’s vivid blue pools. There’s another high up temple on top of the granite in addition to the one at the entrance.
Allow around an hour for scrambling, photos, and a safe return trip.
It was scorching hot during my visit in mid July, especially at the rocky part. I visited around 4pm and use an umbrella."
