"This place sells fruits and vegetables, along with some bread. The prices seem quite good, so even before it opens in the morning, there's already a line. There's also a cafeteria inside, selling rice balls, fried foods, and more.
It looks like a lot of farmers bring their produce together for sale.
If you have a chance, you should definitely check it out."

"I go there several times every year to buy them.
As June begins, there is an abundance of asparagus, burdock, bracken, Kyoto butterbur, and thinned melon for sale.
The asparagus sold by each farmer is packed with people trying to ship it, and the store is also a huge success, with about 20 people lined up at the register.
The ML mixes for eating at home are by far the cheapest, so you can eat a lot and really get a feel for the season.
In a little while, there will be lots of Biei tomatoes lined up.
Biei tomatoes have a beautiful shape that doesn't become mushy even when they turn bright red, and they are sweet and delicious with no green smell.
When this season comes, I like to eat dandan noodles made with whole Biei tomatoes at Chai, a Chinese restaurant right next to the Biei railroad crossing.
Biei's vegetables and fruits are really delicious.
I recommend going early."
