"A very small but very nice museum. The exhibits were informative and well made. We spent about an hour looking at everything. Of course you can see everything much quicker but we weren't in any rush. Also it's free but please leave a donation I think this place deserves it."

"Fascinating museum about the lives of people who lived on this land 7,000 years ago. Incredible to think that we are walking under the same sun as they did, and watching the same sunsets they did back then."

"🎉Free🎉 30 Minutes to an hour. A free musuem to learn about the ancient people of jomon who lived in Chatan. The 3d model in the room is beautiful and has some funny scenes! Some passages have English and I was able to use Google translate on other passages. The 2nd room had shell displays and history of Chatan, i used Google translate on the boards.
There is a seating area to read books too. Books are in Japanese.
Plenty of parking on site. No gift shop. Bathrooms on site."
