"great place for a volcano hike! it takes roughly 4-5h to circle the two closest craters. for people arriving by train/bus: take a train to ‚kirishima-jingu’ where a bus runs to ‚maruo onsen‘ with a connecting bus up to the ebino eco visitor center (thrice daily). i‘ve attached the schedule for the two bus rides back (1pm and 4pm)."
