"Tenka Chaya was built in the fall of 1934 near the Misaka Tunnel, a favorite local spot for spectacular views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. During my visit there, this was popular with bikers and couples.
Their specialty is traditional hoto noodles in a thick wheat noodles in a miso / pumpkin broth that's an all season food for the soul.
Great service and spectacular views too. Cash only, fyi."

"What an incredible restraunt tucked away on top of a windy road. The trip up is a wonderful drive and the view at the top is worth the wait.
We ordered the potato dumpling and the hotu fudo noodles. Was so delicious. Portions are huge!
Ice coffee was a nice way to finish. Staff were lovely and took a great video of us enjoying the view along with the whole venue.
