We drove up to the castle grounds where there is free parking. The road is very narrow, so you have to watch out for pedestrians. The parking can get full, but traffic is well controlled at the parking lot, and we waited a bit for a space.

If you are not confident, there is a parking lot below as well. For my visit, I brought a corolla touring up and was manageable. For a small fee, you can enter the castle.
