"One of my favorite road stations in Aomori, the Nango road station has a great selection of local goods, especially edible ones. At the end of May now, they have delicious blueberry Daifuku and this year limited-offer frozen blueberry and cream cheese daifuku that are amazing. This is the only place I’ve found such a large selection of delicious blueberry goods in Aomori. During July, they also have cherries (which are a great deal here!) and then fresh blueberries for sale. In the fall you’ll find plenty of pears and apples. In addition, there’s a nice selection of breads, rolls, and vegetables."
