"This museum is run by Hanamaki City.
This summer marked the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, and they were running a special exhibition called "War and Hanamaki."
I was able to see the exhibition of my uncle and grandfather's flags while they were still alive.
It's a great opportunity to learn that even rural areas like this were hit by air raids, so be sure to check it out.
The permanent exhibition features a compact collection of materials and exhibits that give a rough idea of the history of human habitation in this area, dating back to the Jomon period.
Recently, local museums and art galleries have been operating museum shops and cafes, but there were no such facilities here at the moment.

It's near Hanamaki Higashi High School. It's in Hanamaki City. Next to it is the Miyazawa Kenji Fairy Tale Village and Memorial Museum. Currently, the exhibition focuses on the war and the atomic bomb, and the content is quite heavy, but these are real events, so I think it's best not to look away🙇You can also learn about the history of Hanamaki. Admission is 350 yen❗They also sell Hanamaki Castle seals. I enjoy visiting the 100 famous castles. Unfortunately,
