This ryokan was established in 1902. I recommend staying on Miyajima so that you can enjoy the quiet hours in the morning and at night when there are fewer people🦌 1902年創業の老舗旅館✨宮島に宿泊すると、朝や夜の人が少ない時間を楽しめるのでオススメです。 📍Miyajima Kinsuikan / 宮島 錦水館 Room: Heritage Suite 禄 Roku #miyajima #ryokan #kinsuiuan #第1回錦水館フォトコン #錦水館 #宮島錦水館

Staying overnight on Miyajima in a traditional ryokan just 2mins walk away from the Itsukushima Shrine and torii was one of the best decisions! I loved walking around in the evening when the shrine is lit up and most peoole have left the island. I got up early to enjoy this wonderful destination to mostly myself and a few priests. Wish I stayed two nights cause I would have loved to take the ropec...

Reviews Summary

Guests consistently praise the exceptional service and friendly staff at the Miyajima Seaside Hotel, often highlighting it as a standout experience during their Japan trips. The beautiful seaside location, delicious traditional meals, and the magical atmosphere of the island, especially in the evenings, are frequently mentioned positives. While the walk from the center is noted, the availability of shuttle buses mitigates this concern for many.

"Beautiful hotel, the room views over the sea are wonderful. As was the room, actually. The staff were all very friendly and attentive to anything, plus as a bonus English was well-spoken (thanks!). Outstanding food especially dinner, wow.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the centre (25 min) but there's a regular shuttle bus until 6pm from the ferry terminal. There's also a shuttle that runs a couple of times later in the evening so you can easily go visit the centre in the dark - much recommended, seeing the shrine at this time with hardly anyone was magical.

どうもありがとうございます"

"We stayed at the Miyajima Seaside Hotel and absolutely loved the experience. The place is full of charm and small thoughtful details that make your stay special. The staff were always incredibly kind and attentive, from providing fresh water, dishes, or small amenities for the kids, to arranging transfers to and from the port. They even had activities like writing your name in Japanese and other cultural touches that made it fun for the whole family.

The location is wonderful, right by the beach where you can even rent bicycles or take a swim. Inside, they provide yukatas (casual kimonos) to wear to dinner, which was very comfortable and added to the authentic experience. The meals are traditional Japanese cuisine, beautifully prepared and varied, though it’s best if you truly enjoy Japanese food, as sometimes we weren’t entirely sure what we were eating!

The public baths are also worth trying, offering a relaxing and entertaining experience with many amenities. Overall, it’s the kind of hotel where staying at least one night is highly recommended so you can enjoy the atmosphere, the hospitality, and get the most out of your visit to Miyajima."

"An excellent stay overall! I received the best service here across my entire trip, the staff was very welcoming and attentive. Great amenities, clean rooms, and a very beautiful, picturesque location by the seaside as well.

They were even able to accommodate a vegetarian diet, and the vegetarian meal was also delicious!

I would definitely recommend staying here!"
