What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors enjoy the Itoigawa Hisui Coast for its unique rocky landscape and the thrill of searching for jade and other beautiful stones. The dramatic coastal scenery and the sound of the waves are often highlighted as major draws. However, some find it challenging to locate actual jade, and the lack of sand and shade requires preparation.
"The rocks are small and no jade to be found. Unless you want nephrite."

"Nice place to have a relaxing picnic with family and friends. Can try your luck finding jade stones in the beach!"
Christopher Ching
"Fun relaxed beach where you can spend a whole day just swimming and looking for beautiful stones.
I find it hard to believe that people find clear polished jade. You MAY find some raw jadeite, which does look rather obscure. Most of the white stones are just quartz. Instead, I collected piles of moss agate, serpentinite, jasper of all kinds, wishing rocks, labradorite, etc - shapes and patterns are truly mesmerising!"
