"Nice place if you like elaborated tombstones and war memorials. Okinawa have too many nameless dead during the wars and this is an important place to let people understand that every life is important.
The Dalai Lama was there too and planted two trees next to the original sap of Bodhi tree from Bodhgaya, from the tree that the Buddha gain enlightenment."

Robin CHAN

"Great little find with lots of memorials and Haka"

Darrel Bedford

"This is a sapling of the Sri Maha Bodhi established in Okinawa in year 2004. Though the Bo tree (Ficus religiosa) is sacred to Buddhists and worshiped, establishment of this sapling was done in view of sending a message of peace. Therefore, there are no religious activities in this place as far as I know."
