What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the wide, firm sandy beach and the presence of coastal flowers, finding it a pleasant spot for strolls. However, a significant drawback is the amount of litter found, particularly near the dunes, which detracts from the natural beauty. Some also note concerns about car security in secluded parking areas and the strong winter winds.
"Visited on May 17, 2025
It was after sunset, so I didn't go to the beach.
There were about 3-5 parking spaces, but I couldn't check it after sunset and before the lights were turned on.
The toilets had motion sensor lights, no toilet smell, and were clean, which was very helpful."

"It would have been better if there was no trash, but I still liked the white sand and flowers.I wanted to see the cobblestone streets of Okinawa or the south."

"In my opinion, these were the worst sand dunes I've ever seen.
The reason is that there is a lot of trash everywhere you go until you reach the sea.
I went on February 21st. It was a sunny day, but it was a weekday with very strong winter winds, so there was almost no one there.
I had tried to reach other places before coming here, but they were on private property and had signs saying no trespassing, so I couldn't reach them. The side roads are a bit scary, so I recommend not going down them.
I wasn't sure what the botanical garden was, but the parking space was spacious and nice.
However, since it was almost deserted and your car was hidden from view from the dunes and the sea, I was worried about car break-ins.
As I mentioned at the beginning, there was a lot of trash.
If you want to take photos, you'll need to get close to the sea where it's hidden from view."
