"Ise-Ohashi Bridge
I drove around in a rental car. After visiting Rokkaen in Kuwana City, I went for delicious clam salt ramen. Then I made a round trip across the Ise-Ohashi Bridge. (Of course, my journey continues.) Kuwana City is surprisingly amazing. (Visited September 21, 2025)"

"The Langer Truss Bridge spans the Nagara River and the Ibi River. This multi-span truss bridge is beautiful. However, the bridge bears bullet holes from machine gun fire during the Pacific War.
I had imagined it would only be a small hole, about 1-2cm, but when I saw it with my own eyes, it was a large hole, about 5-7cm. The power of the bullets that could blow a hole in the truss. It was horrifying to think that these bullets might have been fired at people at the time.
I was reminded of the horrors of war, and was impressed that the Ise Ohashi Bridge, which is still in use and supports the main artery of National Route 1, even after being hit by machine gun fire."
