"This vast and breathtaking garden is almost a heaven for garden and nature lovers and not to be missed if you are in Obihiro area. It took me about an hour plus to cycle there from Obihiro city center. There’s a steep slope just before the garden and so be prepared for it. The garden itself was totally worth the climb. It’s very well maintained and they have seasonal flowers exhibition. My visit was in July and I saw quite a lot of beautiful roses! This place is perfect for a leisure stroll in the afternoon. And If, instead of walking, you prefer a mobile, they have golf carts that you can drive around the garden. There are quite a few benches and chairs for you to sit, relax and enjoy the scenery. Get yourself some ice cream from the cafe at the entrance, have a seat under some shade and feel the breeze. There’s a restaurant inside the garden too if you want to get some lunch/dinner."
