"This is my regular onsen. I go with my husband 3 to 4 times a week. Mostly in the evenings.
It’s very cost effective, adult: ¥500 child:¥250. And every 19th and 29th it’s half priced.
Water quality is good as it is fed by a natural source and there are various baths/pools (jet, electric, cold, indoor, outdoor) and a sauna. The female and male sections are rotated weekly (Mon-Sun). Opening hours are from 10:00 to 21:00 (final admission at 20:30). Usually the second Wednesday of the month they are closed.
There are nonrefundable ¥10 lockers for shoes and in the changing rooms. Body wash, shampoo/rinse and hair dryers are also available.
There is a big tatami area to relax in with three massage chairs that operate with ¥200 for 10 minutes. A small drinking fountain is next to the room so you can refresh yourself. The water is from a local natural spring and is delicious.
The staff are lovely and friendly. They are ready to assist. Honestly, they are the highlight for me.
There are times that it can be crowded (especially on half price days 19th/29th). Some of the fixtures are old but they do their best to keep the atmosphere clean.
There’s a michi no eki next to it where you can buy local goods, and food."
