What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the magical azalea gardens, describing them as a vibrant, fairytale-like landscape, especially in April-May. The tall Buddha statue and peaceful temple grounds are also highlights. Some note that it can get crowded during peak bloom, and navigation can be tricky if relying solely on standard map apps.
"Beautiful place with flowers and a festival. 🎎 🌺 Definitely recommended you go before it's too hot and flowers die. I wanna check it out next year too. There's a direct bus from Kabe station 🚉. It's not on Google maps directions."
Barış Günenç
"This is a really great temple to visit. Known for its big Buddha Statue and an abundance of Azaleas. So if you love Azaleas I highly recommend it. It can be a little crowded during that time of year so be mindful of that. Parking will cost you about ¥700 yen if you drive. Other than the Azaleas and the Buddha statue they have food trucks, shops and so on. If you’re lucky you might catch a live performance. This place is definitely a must visit, check it out."

"Beautiful temple known for its blooming foliage and Buddha. Outside of the blooming season I found it quite empty as there were almost no people in the area. Very nice peaceful atmosphere."
