"Such a fun beach! Bathrooms, covered patio with picnic tables, ocean activities and plenty of parking available. During swim season, you’re able to swim in a netted area. It doesn’t keep everything out (saw a few fish swim in and out along the perimeter of the net) but we had no issues. Our kids found a small clownfish family swimming in an anemone! A lifeguard is on duty during this time.
We’ve gone a few times during the off season and have still had fun. No lifeguards on duty during the winter. There’s a small jetty to the left of the beach that has a spot for a photo op, and there’s a large swing for photos too (unable to swing, it’s secured to the ground). Further down the beach are some rocky areas, great for exploring. I’d definitely recommend some water shoes/felt bottoms to help protect your feet if you’ll be in that area.
We did one of their ocean activities (raft towed by jet ski) and our son had a lot of fun. Staff was kind and made sure he was comfortable.
There is a small playground nearby. Definitely better for younger kids (my 4 year olds had fun).
