"A tempura shop near Namba Sennichimae line. The place is fairly popular so expect a line for waiting. The waitress outside asked if we want to eat tempura or tendon, we said tendon so we moved at the other side. I believe the experiences for both food options are vastly different. In our case we had the autumn limited bowl with fried soft boiled egg and clam soup. I should have went with the normal soup if I knew earlier that the bowl is supposed to be finished with dashi at the end. The clams were cooked too much too so we had to eat broken shells. The bowl was extravagant and had one of everything but nothing special. The dip they provided us was sesame sauce which I don’t think complements the dish. The kicker? The comfort room smelled and obviously was not kept clean which is a no-no for a place that charges premium prices for a bowl. I might be dissing the place too much since the friends I went with said that the food is good. Maybe I had better tempura like Tempura no Yama at the northern side of Osaka."
