While explanations are primarily in Japanese, the visual appeal transcends language barriers, making it a magical outing for all ages.
"🐬 Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa Review
Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa is a fascinating and modern aquarium that offers an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. Inside, you can explore a wide variety of marine life — from colorful tropical fish and graceful jellyfish to rare sea creatures and beautifully designed underwater displays. The exhibits are creatively arranged with impressive lighting and sound effects that make the atmosphere both relaxing and magical.
One of the highlights of the park is the live dolphin show, which combines music, water, and light in a stunning performance. You can also watch sea lions and other marine animals demonstrating their natural behaviors and playful interactions with trainers — a perfect mix of entertainment and education.
Beyond the main attractions, there are seasonal events and themed exhibitions that make every visit unique. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate, with friendly staff ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Overall, Aqua Park Shinagawa is not just an aquarium but a full sensory adventure. It’s a must-visit destination in Tokyo, especially for families, couples, and anyone interested in the beauty of marine life."

"Really nice aquarium that's suitable for all ages. It's a lot cheaper than other options around Tokyo, with almost half the price of Aqua park near Shinagawa station.
On the map, it looks close to the nearest station, but because of the highway, it takes about 8 minutes.
There are posters and explanations in both Japanese and English. But for the shows, such as the dolphins and the seals, the trainer only provides explanations in Japanese (but that shouldn't decrease the amount of fun from watching the performance).
There are two floors, with quite the long stairs.
Overall, there is a little bit of everything to enjoy an aquarium. While there were a lot of people, it wasn't TOO crowded."

"Very toddler friendly aquarium, all the water tanks are at ground level (including dolphins) so it’s super easy for kids to observe. It’s located in a huge community park so a great place for kids to run off energy"
