Oli Oli - UAE @olioliuae is the BEST play museum we’ve ever visited! The 7 themed rooms have so many exhibits to engage the children and us adults had fun too ☺️. I loved that every room had info on the wall and ideas to engage your children & encourage them to think deeper. There’s a cafe serving food but you’re also allowed to take your own. It’s so clean & well organised with someone at e...

Reviews Summary

PLAY! Museum is widely praised as a highly creative and engaging space for children, offering a unique blend of interactive art, imaginative play, and educational workshops. Visitors appreciate the thoughtful design and the opportunity for both kids and adults to have fun. However, some note that separate admission fees for different areas can add up, and planning ahead for tickets and potential queues is advisable.

"Play Park: One the most creative art playgrounds I've visited in Tokyo! It's very teamlab-like creative open play, made of recycled bubble wrap. There are swings and it feels like a giant ball pit for the kids but not. There's also a babies corner that's suitable for 3 and below, including a diaper changing area. There is also a music corner and an art video exhibition. Workshops are available for an additional fee.

Note: the museum and playground are two separate admission fees."

"1) Access from Tokyo
It takes 50 minutes from Tokyo Station to Tachikawa Station by Chuo Line.
2) Cost
Train fare 650 yen, admission fee 1800 yen
3) Review
From Tachikawa station, it is good to go through the promenade under the elevated monorail to the facility without stress and no traffic lights. The complex has a variety of options from restaurants to sundries, and is a good playground for holidays. The art itself is interactive and well laid out in a compact space; the exhibition project for September 2025 is the "Great Thief Exhibition. Stone. The exhibition features a collection of thieves from all over the world, ancient and modern. It is a good opportunity to recall the picture books you read as a child."

"Went for the museum, stayed for the park. No surprise the kids loved the park more…but just a heads up, it’s a separate charge.

Also great idea to use these materials that kids love."
