Reviews Summary

Takamatsu Port is a vital hub for exploring the Seto Inland Sea's art islands, praised for its organization and scenic views, especially the iconic red lighthouse. While ferry tickets can sell out quickly and cash is often preferred, the port offers a pleasant experience for island hopping and enjoying coastal ambiance. InstagramReddit

"We visited during the Setouchi Triennale and it was organized pretty well. You can only pay in cash, so make sure you have enough. Also, since there was a lot of people, we had to get there very early in order to get the tickets on the ferry we wanted. The navigation can be a little confusing, but they have signs and people who speak English there to help you."

"Very well organised counter for buying tickets to Naoshima island. Pls form up / queue ur car for the next ferry before walking over to buy tickets. Adult fare for ferry is 990 yen for return tickets . The fare for vehicle is 5500 yen for a MPV n driver . Took around 1hr to get to Naoshima. The passenger seating area was very comfy and there are many different types of configuration for seating. The Naoshima port of arrival is where the red pumpkin is. Very impressed with how clean n stable the ferry ride was."
