"I visited the station on August 22, 2024. It currently has two platforms and four tracks, but the original plan was for it to be a two-platform, six-track station. The Midori no Madoguchi (Green Window) will close at the end of October 2024. The street east of the station is Yoemon-san Street, which leads to places associated with Nakae Toju, such as Toju Shoin and Toju Shrine. There are also many commercial facilities, including convenience stores and supermarkets, clustered around the station on the east side. However, there didn't appear to be any hotels."
