This was the first place I visited upon arriving in Tottori. It's a small but truly magnificent garden. It was especially charming because it was raining. The grandmother served snacks and tea, and I enjoyed the garden for a bit. She also played an audio guide explaining the garden's history, but unfortunately, I don't speak Japanese, so I just skipped over it. Being able to leisurely enjoy such a magnificent garden on my own was truly a wonderful experience.
The Tottori Sand Dunes are great, but you should definitely visit Kannon-in Temple! You won't regret it! I imagine it has a different charm in spring when the flowers are in bloom, or in winter when the snow is piled high."

"I am grateful for the momentary sunrise despite the poor weather. It is a very beautiful garden. Thank you for the feast for the eyes. I will visit again if I have the opportunity."
