"Fantastic living museum. Artisans on site crafting everything from footwear to wooden baskets. Only some of the signs had English translations, but we used Google translate and that worked well. Staff have limited English but are very friendly and helpful. Signs state to ask permission before taking photos. Souvenirs crafted on site for sale. We all had a great time."

"Great place to visit while in the area viewing the fall leaves. Before the pandemic the little village square area transforms into a little fair grounds with beer and sake stands, yatai and sweets for sale as well as the living museum buildings and exhibits. The cool night air along with the celebration like atmosphere is really nice."
