Reviews Summary
Nagisamachi Tsu Port is highly praised for its incredibly fast catamaran service to Centrair Airport, offering a significant time-saving alternative to trains. The port is well-maintained, and the connecting bus to Tsu Station provides convenient, scenic transport. While the catamaran can be noisy, its reliability and speed make it a top choice for airport transfers.
"If you're going from Centrair to Ise City, this is the route to take! I hope the Matsusaka route is reinstated. It's much faster than the train if you're heading to Ise. It's a high-speed catamaran, so the noise inside is comparable to that of a powerboat. You can't expect complete silence. I've taken it over 20 times and it's never been canceled or fully booked. It's relatively empty. Unless you're prone to motion sickness, it's probably fine, but please do so at your own risk. There's also a bus from Nagisa-machi to Tsu Station. You can see palm trees from the bus all year round. Palm trees in winter are a real treat for those from northern Japan. This bus is also empty. If you can't stay overnight in Ise, there are accommodations in front of Tsu Station, so it's worth considering. There are also a fair number of restaurants, so why not relax in the area once in a while? Most of the accommodations are business hotels. Gokoku Shrine is located behind the station, within walking distance."

"When I used it, I was arriving from Centrair, and there was a bus waiting to take me to Tsu Station at the time the ferry arrived, which was convenient. It seemed to be better maintained than the port on the Centrair side, but they didn't sell souvenirs or anything like that."
