What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests at Ajimu Onsen consistently praise the well-equipped glamping units, private BBQ facilities, and the magical bonfire evenings. The pet-friendly amenities, including a dog run, are a significant draw. While the self-catering aspect is a highlight, some visitors note the presence of small insects during summer nights and suggest bringing loungewear.
"We stayed with our family of four and our pet dog. We enjoyed a quiet, private space, and the room was fully equipped with almost all kitchen utensils, so we had a wonderful time. We brought our own meals for two adults and one for the children, but the portions were more than enough. The food was also excellent. Dinner comes with bread, but one was never enough (there were plenty of delicious side dishes, like ajillo, that you could dip the bread in). Our kids love rice, so we brought our own rice cooker, but we were able to park our car right in front of the building entrance, so it didn't take up too much space. We enjoyed the extraordinary experience of a campfire at night. While it didn't bother us, in the summer, small insects (not mosquitoes) do tend to gather at night, so those who can't stand even the smallest of insects may need to be a little careful. Anshinji is a grape-producing region, so there are stores and vending machines selling wine and other alcoholic beverages about a one-minute walk from the parking lot, and there are local supermarkets and convenience stores on the way from Anshinji IC, so it is easy to purchase alcohol, snacks, and additional ingredients."

"It was really great! The facilities were well-equipped, so it was perfect for a BBQ. I ordered ingredients this time, but they said it was okay to bring my own, so I'd like to try bringing my own next time. The dog run even has play equipment. Breakfast can be eaten on the terrace, which is great depending on the season. The room was also very clean and nice. The staff's detailed explanations were also great."

"We visited the Anshinin Winery right in front of the house, and of course bought some wine, and stayed there with our own food.
The hotel was well-equipped with seasonings, cooking utensils, and cutlery, which was very helpful.
You can drive your car right up to the guest room building, so it's easy to load and unload your luggage.
The rooms were spacious enough, and the bathroom and terrace were spacious and comfortable.
The garden was unexpectedly large, with a view of the vineyards, giving it a sense of openness. It was quiet at night, and we enjoyed the bonfire.
It may have been a coincidence, but the western sun was hitting the kitchen directly, so it was hot when cooking, and I wished there was a shade! However, there was air conditioning, and there was a gas stove on the terrace, so it was well-equipped to deal with the heat and cold.
I'm worried about bugs in the summer, but I'd like to visit again."
