"Best place to see a mountain full of cherry blossom. Lovely mountain with great scenery. The place is very clean and very well taken care. There are restaurants and cafe in the area with great view. Best to ride the ropeway going up and just walk down later when going home. Bus is another option."

"Undoubtedly one of the best places in Japan for sakura viewing. Went there today on 6th April, 2025. All photos were captured on that day.
After arriving at Yoshino station from Osaka Abenobashi, we took the shuttle bus to Nakasenbon (15-20 mints ride) and walked till the Hanayaguru observatory (1.5 Km from Nakasenbon bus point) to have an unobstructed view of the entire Yoshino town all the way till the Kinpunsen ji Temple. However, the cherry blossoms in the Kamisenbon area around the viewpoint were just opening. Walked down the mountain to the rail station thereafter in around 2 hours (4.5 Km) while soaking in all the superb views."
