What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tad Lo Waterfall is highly praised for its stunning natural beauty, refreshing swimming opportunities, and the enriching cultural experiences offered through village visits and guided tours. Visitors appreciate the knowledgeable and friendly guides who enhance the understanding of local traditions and the environment. While the natural setting is a major draw, some find the facilities basic and recommend being prepared for wet conditions shortly after the rainy season.
"A very nice halfday (08:00 -13:00) tour in the vincinity of Tad Lo. Robin (native French and perfect English) and Kong (Local) are not only very knowledgeable but also the perfect guides for such a tour. Robin has a lot of general knowledge about Laos, it's inhabitants their traditions, and daily life complemented by Kong, who also knows every plant and animal we encounter. The tour is a very pleasant walk, mainly along rice paddies that bring you along three waterfalls and several minority villages. Wet feet are inevitable shortly after the rainy season, but in a fun way. A must do when in Tad Lo. I even suggest staying overnight as it is a very nice, beautiful play to stay."

I also took a private trip with him by motorbike to visit a coffee farm and temple in the forest which I would highly recommend."
