"Church of St. Raphael the Archangel is a Roman Catholic church located right next to the Green bridge, that connects Šnipiškės and Old Town. Former Jesuits monastery ensemble is located nearby which currently is used by the Department of Cultural Heritage of Lithuania. On 14 August 1904, the first President of the independent Lithuania Antanas Smetona married with Sofija Smetonienė in this church. It is a traditional beautiful late baroque (a.k.a. Vilnius baroque) church, which was completed in 1709. It’s currently used as such and is open to believers and visitors alike. The mass is being held in both Polish and Lithuanian languages. You can check it out before or after the mass."

"Roman Catholic Church of St Archangel Raphael by the river, when I visited there was a mass and the garden and pedestrian path in front of the church was under construction."

"Peaceful quiet but authentic church, very close to the old town’s center which is usually open throughout the day. Not much of religious artifacts, paintings or statues-figures but if you are looking to experience original religious experiences this is the one for you. Lots of locals especially in Sunday’s morning rituals."
