What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Grevenmacher Butterfly Garden for its beautiful and exotic atmosphere, with many highlighting the incredible experience of being surrounded by numerous free-flying butterflies and other tropical creatures. The well-maintained environment and friendly staff are also frequently mentioned positives. However, some note the limited duration of the visit and the intense humidity inside.
"Location 📌: situated in Grevenmacher, at the border with Germany. Unfortunately, due to the location, almost all the souvenirs were with messages written in German. I would have loved to have options in English or French.🙏
The garden🌿: a beautiful and amazing butterfly garden🦋. I have visited a similar one into another location, and I liked more this one💖. The variety of species, the fact that a lot of butterflies 🦋 were flying around us, the plants that attract 🌼 them, the little pond, the little cute reptiles🦎 and birds 🐦⬛ singing around us, made the experience truly exotic🌺.
Visiting 🕑: you need to buy tickets in advance and book the visit on their website. A limited number of people is allowed to visit in one hour interval that you are allowed to spend there.⏳️
Parking available at the location.👏👍
From my point of view, the experience is quite nice and unique. Compared to another garden, I found this one more complete. ⭐️⭐️⭐️👏👍💖"

"Nice place, although not a long program. With a small kid max 45 mins. Well maintained, the butterflies and animals look healthy and beautiful.
Very hot and humid inside (expected).
The staff is very nice at the entrance.
There is also a small buffet."

"This was a spontaneous trip but it was a lovely and immersive experience into a bit of a tropical paradise. It is of course a treat for children, but the appreciation of the the adults was just as bubbly. Best thing is to book online for a timeframe (limited number of people at once) to be sure that it’s possible to get in. The beauty of plants, the butterflies and other tropical creatures will have you in their grasp."
