"400+m altitude gain and over 5km of hiking. it took us around 2hrs up and 45mins down. The trail was mostly jungle trekking and since it was a sunny day so only a few spots were muddy/super slippery.
Do remember to apply for permit beforehand, parking costs RM10 per car, entrance fee is RM1/person. We were joined by 7 friendly dogs following us along the way. Kinda scary first, but they never bark and mostly kept their distance.
The view was magnificent along the trail. Some parts are quite challenging but still doable (I get the point of beginner-friendly). Sungai lepoh itself was absolutely beautiful and worth the hike."
