What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the National Planetarium KL to be an educational and visually engaging experience, particularly for its Space Theater shows and unique mosque-like architecture. While some note that certain exhibits could be updated, the overall atmosphere is praised for its wonder and accessibility for families.
"It's not very big, but it's enough to help children learn some astronomy. The minimum height requirement for riding the SpacePod is 120 cm. It's quite cold inside due to the air conditioning, so remember to bring a jacket if you're sensitive to the cold. Entry is free, but there are extra charges for some of the facilities."
Giselle Lim
"Brought my family here for the first time, building external and internally looks very rundown.
Entrance is free, butmost of the infotainment Led panels were under maintenance (how long I don't know) only 1 interactive room available, the theatre was not working even with 6 shows per day.
Info on space exploration and research were limited (like up to 2007) and not up to date (like discoveries by the James Webb SpaceTelescope) which will facinate the younger generation.
The only best part is the anti gravity tube, which really give you the feeling and experience."
Edwin Anthony
"Had a wander around the outside. They're having fun with science. This not the original Stone Henge in the picture - unless you count the Spinal Tap version ..."
