The best part? No tickets are needed, it’s completely free to visit! Just a small tip — try to go in the evening instead of noon, as it can get blazing hot during the day. The lighting at sunset makes the place even more magical.

"Dataran Lang is one of those must-visit spots in Langkawi — the huge eagle statue is even more impressive in person. It’s a great place for photos, especially around sunset when the light hits the water and the sky turns gold.
The whole area is clean, well kept, and has a nice breeze from the sea. There are plenty of cafés and shops nearby, so it’s easy to spend a bit of time just wandering around.
It’s touristy, sure, but still absolutely worth seeing. The views over the water and the surrounding islands are beautiful, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed."
