What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Underwater World Langkawi is a well-maintained indoor attraction, praised for its diverse marine life, especially the immersive underwater tunnel and entertaining penguin exhibits. It's highly recommended for families with children due to its educational value and interactive activities like feeding shows and workshops. While some find the ticket price high for adults, the overall experience is considered enjoyable and a great way to escape the weather.
"One of the city's main attraction in middle of market, easily accessible and well maintained. Ticket is easily available online and offline both. Many species are there to view and are very beautifully managed. Special feeding session are there as per schedule which are must to enjoy. In certain area, you need to pay attention to identify the one."

"A truly beautiful place! 🌿 We didn’t expect to see so many different species and for the whole complex to be designed so nicely. You walk through a jungle with parrots flying around, then move on to various sections with different animals. The highlight is definitely the two tunnels – one where you can see penguins and another with a mix of large fish."
Bett Hrušková
"Overall, my visit to Underwater World Langkawi was enjoyable, and it's a well-maintained attraction. If you have never been to a large aquarium before, you will likely be very impressed by the variety of marine animals and the fantastic underwater tunnel. Seeing sharks and giant stingrays swim over your head is a great experience. The penguin section was also a fun highlight.
However, the main issue is the price. The entrance fee of RM 60 for foreigners feels very high for what is offered. While the experience is good, it is not spectacular enough to justify this cost, especially when compared to other attractions in Langkawi or even larger aquariums in other parts of the world.
Verdict:
If you are new to this kind of attraction and don't mind the cost, you will have a good time. But for seasoned travellers or those on a budget, the RM 60 ticket price is not worth the money. You could likely spend that money on a more unique Langkawi experience."
