Despite the chocolates having a relatively short "best before" date, the affordability made it an enticing deal, and we were confident in consuming them before expiration.
Bargaining for affordable shirts added to our shopping spree. The marketplace's charm lay not just in the variety of goods but also in the ability to negotiate favorable prices.
Exiting the area required passing through customs, where we anticipated a 10% tax on our purchases. However, the staff demonstrated exceptional kindness by levying only RM10 for the tax, simplifying the payment through e-wallet or interbank transfer, eliminating the need for cash.
While the shopping experience was delightful, challenges surfaced in the form of limited parking and the sweltering heat, with some areas lacking shelter. However, a refreshing ice cream treat with a medley of toppings provided a welcome respite from the heat, concluding our visit on a sweet note."
