Malta 🇲🇹 Things to do in Malta: 1. Blue Lagoon 2. Sunset on Dingli Cliffs 3. Explore Valetta, Mdina and Rabat - my top 3 favourite areas of Malta that I visited. I stayed in a hotel in Sliema which was much cheaper than staying in Valetta. If you stay in Sliema you can get an Uber to Valetta or pay around £2 to get a gondola straight across the water and directly into Valetta - I know which opt...

Proposal

I am going to Malta in August and I am hoping to propose, I was wondering if there was anyone who could help me with ideas. All I am looking for is somewhere private away from crowds. Thanks for any help!

Visiting Malta next week. What weather should I expect? Are there nice trails to walk from blue grotto to Dingli cliffs? Do you think I could go in the water with a wetsuit this time of the year?

I will arrive on Tuesday and leaving on Sunday. I stay in St Paul but I plan to go around the island and dedicate one day to Gozo and Comino. Trying to have an idea of what kind of clothes I should bring. Thank you!

Reviews Summary

Dingli Cliffs are celebrated for their breathtaking natural beauty and spectacular sunset views, offering a tranquil escape. Visitors appreciate the free access, ample parking, and stunning panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and Filfla Island. However, some find the immediate area lacks extensive activities beyond the views, and public transport can be infrequent.

"Dingli Cliffs is one of Malta’s most breath-taking natural landmarks, offering stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding countryside. It’s a wonderful place for a peaceful walk, with ample free street parking along the roadside, as well as a small car park in front of the chapel. The cliffs are especially popular at sunset, when the sky lights up with beautiful colours, making it a favourite spot for photographers and couples alike.

There are a few benches along the way where you can sit and enjoy the scenery, and you can even spot Filfla Island in the distance. It’s also a popular stop for guided tours, but even if you visit on your own, the sense of tranquillity is unmatched.

🌅 Perfect spot to watch the sunset
📸 Beautiful location for photography and photoshoots
🅿️ Free roadside parking + Free small car park by the chapel
🏞️ Panoramic views of the sea, countryside, and Filfla Island"

Amy Marie Borg

"The private property below the cliffs makes this place of interest earn fewer than 5 stars. A nice view but considering they’re cliffs I would have expected a great view. I probably spent no more than 30 minutes walking along a path attempting to get to a point closer to the waters edge and/or more aesthetically pleasing to the eye."

J Nanton

"Well, its a fascinating spot, as the cliffs are really high and also look amazing. However one must note, that there isn't anything more to do. There is a small gift shop and a tiny church, but with a bus only coming hourly there, it can get really boring."
