Given the historical importance of this site we were amazed by the lack of direction signage and interpretative signage. The caves are amazing and well worth the short walk. My theory is, since there is a query not far away, I belive people where transporting rock from query to near by town. It was sledge type of cart, without wheels, that's why tracks are so deep.
