"We went to the tower last night to watch the sunset and see the Blood Moon (lunar eclipse). The couple on duty were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The rooftop is accessible via a steep spiral staircase and the views are beautiful. We were luck that the cloud cover didn’t stop us from seeing the moon. It was an enjoyable visit and well worth the small entry fee."

"Beautiful view, very helpful and lovely volunteers and great education about the history and use of the Tower. Even with a parking lot, so we could park our mini-van. A must see!"
Aliënne Aangeenbrug
"On the strategically located hill overlooking Coral Beach (Bajja tal-Qroll), the South Gozo Channel and Armier Bay stands the Aħrax Tower (Torri tal-Aħrax) or White Tower (Torri I-Abjad). The tower was built in 1658 as the sixth of the so-called De Redin Towers, and extended in 1715 with an artillery battery. After a three-year restoration, the tower was reopened to the public in 2021."
