Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Sciuta Tower's spectacular sea views and well-preserved medieval architecture, calling it a must-visit for its historical charm and stunning panoramas. The donation-based entry and free parking add to its appeal, though some note the high, worn stairs and low ceilings require caution.
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Where medieval knights meet million-pound sea views! 🏰
Xutu Tower is proof that our ancestors knew a thing or two about prime real estate location! This beautifully preserved watchtower doesn't just offer history lessons - it serves up some of the most spectacular coastal panoramas you'll find on the island. The views stretch endlessly across that gorgeous Mediterranean blue, making you wonder why anyone ever bothered building towers anywhere else. 🌊
The climb up is manageable (no need for a sherpa!), and once you're at the top, you'll understand why this spot was chosen centuries ago to keep watch for invaders. These days, the only thing you'll be watching for is the perfect photo opportunity! The stonework is impressive too - you can practically feel the craftsmanship that's kept this beauty standing through storms, sieges, and centuries of salty sea air. 📸
Pro tip: Visit during golden hour for absolutely dreamy lighting, but honestly, this place delivers stunning views any time of day. Bring a hat though - there's precious little shade up there, and that Mediterranean sun doesn't mess about! Perfect spot for a romantic moment or some serious contemplation about life's finer things. 🌅"

"A historical tower, one of many along the coast, affording good views with a minimum of effort. The last sets of stairs are the old originals so they are high and worn down but the handrail keeps it safe and easy.
Enjoyed chatting with the lady at the entry, who was quite charming and informative. Entry is by donation. Worth a quick visit.
Parking is free in the lot opposite, but the attendant there is cheerful and helpful, so give him a euro or two to help him out."

"Visited on a Friday just as they were opening. There is no cost to enter although you can leave a donation. The tower guide was a font of knowledge about the towers history and also his young apprentice. You can go onto the roof and the views are amazing. Beware of the low ceiling heights as you access the upper stairs as very low. Worth a visit especially for the views."
