"What an experience. We were fortunate enough to arrive at the best time possible. First, you get to visit the distillery and do pretty much what you want on the grounds. The workers are there and you can talk to them and ask questions, amazing people. You get to see the whole process of making the rum. Now, about the best time. When we arrived, the fermentation was over and the distillation was on its way. That gives you a unique tasting experience, one very few get. Once you’re done with the tour, you can go in the shop and do more tastings. And that takes us to the second reason regarding the timing. On Apr 8th they launched the 2000 La Flibuste and we could taste that as well. The mansion next to the distillery is private property and can’t be visited. Why pay 15€ elsewhere when you can get the right experience for free?"

"Loved it! The distillery is very basic and old but it’s completely open to the public. The boutique is clean and the staff are incredible. They will give tastings of everything and e plain the differences. They’re sweet and not condescending about the rum, they joked with us, and they speak multiple languages. The rum is reasonably priced and very good."

"Very old factory in poor condition. Practically no degustation on site. Poor selection of rum and high prices. Sometimes prices are even higher than in a supermarket in the city. Not recommended at all. The waist of time and money."
