The stunning views, especially during sunset cruises, and the proximity to iconic landmarks like El Arco are major highlights. "One of the most beautiful and breathtaking places in the world! We had an amazing time at Marina Cabo San Lucas. there is so much to see and do here. all of the staff we encountered in the area were nice, helpful and attentive.
We went out on a sunset cruise and were amazed by all of the gorgeous views of rock formations, whales & sea lions all around the area. We enjoyed getting up close to everything and getting a history lesson about the landscape, whales, sea lions and local life. All topped off with a stellar sunset.
Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend it for a romantic couple's getaway or for the whole family!"

"This place always have something for everyone
It's attached to a mall and shopping indoors with air conditioning is nice. There are local vendors and popular brand name stores. There's also a food court where you can find a few Chinese restaurants - maybe the only ones you will find in downtown Cabo and the food is so so good. There is also a grocery store.
When you go to the marina, you'll find a lot of nice restaurants - some trendy, some pricey, and some totally unique.
You will also get a lot of folks asking you to purchase an excursion. And, if you've never visited the arch, gone to beaches where you can swim, ride a camel at an echo park or drive a utv through sand dunes, you should consider going to an excursion just a least once.
If all you just want a nice day out in the sun, the marina is an enjoyable walk."

"This is The Unofficial tourist strip in Cabo San Lucas. Some of the finest restaurants and drinking establishments are located in this Marina along with some of the best shopping. The local vendors get a little aggressive but they're very friendly. The views of all the beautiful boats and sea lions don't hurt the eyes any either."

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Consider looking for all-inclusive day passes at nearby resorts, which can offer a controlled environment with pools, activities, and food options suitable for children. While the marina itself has shops and restaurants, some of the more upscale dining might be less ideal for very young children. Opting for tours or activities that are specifically advertised as family-oriented will ensure a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
💰 Budget Travelers
Consider visiting during the shoulder seasons for potentially lower accommodation prices. Instead of expensive resort day passes, focus on activities that offer good value, like a basic boat tour. Many local vendors offer souvenirs at negotiable prices, so don't be afraid to haggle respectfully.
💖 Couples & Romantic Getaways
Consider booking a private boat tour for a more secluded experience, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll along the marina hand-in-hand, taking in the beautiful scenery and vibrant nightlife. Many of the upscale restaurants and bars offer a sophisticated ambiance perfect for a romantic evening.

Exploring El Arco and Lover's Beach
When booking a tour, consider options like glass-bottom boats for a unique underwater view, or larger vessels that offer a more comfortable experience with amenities. Many tours also provide narration about the local geology, marine life, and history of the area. Be aware that access to Lover's Beach can be tide-dependent, and swimming is not always possible due to strong currents.
Pro-tip: Many tours offer combined trips that include snorkeling or visits to nearby beaches, making for a comprehensive half-day adventure. Always check the itinerary and inclusions when booking to ensure it meets your expectations.
Dining Delights at the Marina
Beyond these renowned establishments, the marina area is dotted with numerous restaurants catering to various tastes and budgets. You can find trendy bistros, lively bars, and more casual eateries. The attached mall also features a food court, offering convenient and affordable options, including some well-regarded Chinese restaurants, which are noted as a unique find in downtown Cabo.
When exploring the dining scene, be prepared for a range of prices. While some spots are quite pricey, there are also more accessible options. It's always a good idea to check menus and reviews beforehand, especially if you're looking for specific cuisines or a particular ambiance.
Sportfishing Capital of the World
Numerous charter companies operate out of the marina, offering a range of boats and packages to suit different group sizes and experience levels. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner looking for a fun day on the water, you can find charters equipped for deep-sea fishing. Many captains and crews are highly experienced and knowledgeable about the best fishing grounds and techniques.
When considering a fishing charter, it's important to book with a reputable company. Look for charters that emphasize responsible fishing practices and provide all necessary gear. Some videos suggest avoiding certain types of gear or products on boats due to safety and maintenance concerns, highlighting the importance of following crew instructions.
