What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Puerto Cancun Golf Course for its stunning ocean views and the unique thrill of encountering local wildlife, including crocodiles. The convenience of no rider fee is also a plus. However, some find the course challenging and the green fees quite high for a resort destination, suggesting it might be more suited for avid golfers than casual players.
"Just played here on July 7th. First time playing here and coming to the area for a wedding. Course was in great shape overall Greens were consistent and everything was very nice. The ladies in the pro shop were very helpful with our check in process. Golf balls are a little pricey in there so I would recommend bringing a few if youre traveling for a wedding or vacation. Other than that price was fair for the round and cart. Also the drink/snack cart is cash only, beers for just under 4usd."

"A very nice course - quite long (or felt it in 33c) and for how well it was groomed I think it’s well priced.
I paid $140+$65 for club hire but as it was so hot and stuck behind two pretty awful players I decided at the 15th to zoom past and call it a day.
I’ll play again but perhaps push to late afternoon when the sun is not so strong."

"I'm not sure I would return here to play another round.... maybe with friends in the evening to utilize the lounge/range. I played a couple of months ago and it was in pretty bad shape. I suspect with the constant development in progress it's reshaping the original golf layout. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but the front 9 and back 9 are in completely different stages of life. There was no rain for quite a while yet the course was soaked and no one was taking care of the course fixing divots, bunkers, etc. One or two positives is if you order a sandwich you get a pretty hefty one that'll last the entire round and they have a lounge/range area for some fun."
