What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cancun's beaches are widely praised for their stunning turquoise waters and soft sands, offering a quintessential tropical paradise experience. Visitors love the iconic photo opportunities and the variety of beach vibes, from lively to tranquil. However, some travelers note issues with sargassum seaweed, especially during certain times of the year, and advise caution regarding overpriced airport transportation.
"This place treats visitors poorly. We were guests of the hotel affiliated with this club. They treated us as if we should feel special for being there. The staff tried to swindle us for extra money without reason. It is also a very boring place. Amenities are mediocre with not much to offer. Stay away."

"We went because our hotel (The Renaissance) laid on a free shuttle, but half wish we hadn't bothered. The lady on reception with short dark hair and a nose bar was good; helpful and professional, but otherwise it was a poor experience. They didn't bring tables to put the food on, one of the pools was empty with yellow tape around it and there was nothing to weigh down your towels (they weren't the elasticated kind) so they just blew everywhere. Then, to top it off, they added 20% service charge automatically (cheeky and undeserved) only for the waiter to lie and say it was only for the kitchen staff and would we give some more on top (we checked with reception on the way out and they were v embarrassed, promising to do something about this guy basically robbing tourists)."

"Food was disgusting worst ever taste. There were extra items added to my bill which felt suspicious to me. The beach had mercky/ grass or Watever turned me off from swimming. Staff pick and chose when to understand English….nice view that’s it beds were dirty need to be cleaned"
