"I have seen many amazing and beautiful Catholics churches in all my visits in Mexico, but Iglesia de la Crucecita has to be the most amazing of them all. The church is smaller in size. However, upon entering its front doors, I already felt a huge spiritual moment. Looking at all the spectacular murals (all sizes), and its distinct colors and intricacies, I have always been in awe whenever I walk into Iglesia de la Crucecita (my 4th visit to Huatulco). Literally, wall-to-wall paintings that are one of its kind. This church is right across the plaza, in the town square. Can’t miss and definitely a must-see on your next visit to Huatulco.
My visit to Iglesia de la Crucecita was around noon time. There was no mass being conducted at the time of my visit
PS You do not have to be catholic to walk into God’s church"

"A place of calm and peace. In front of the park, the church honours the Virgin of Guadalupe, the patron saint of Mexicans. Inside the church is the largest painting in the world of the Virgin of Guadalupe (approximately 65 feet); painted by Mexican artist José del Signo."
