Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Pantanos de Centla for its stunning natural beauty and abundant wildlife, particularly during boat excursions. However, some note issues with pollution and inconsistent information center availability, suggesting a need for improved environmental awareness and visitor services.

"Very nice place once my wife and I hisited this reserva we were advice to make a boats trip to have a closer look at flora and fauna and really was a very good idea
Iur passion for bird watching drive us to have a closer look at this region.
Unfortunately our boats guide was watching plastic garbage on the surface and was not doing any effort to pick tha garbage away.
What hurts us more that pepole are living from this reserva and do not feel responsible to keep clean, as in many similar places pepole just say that the stream will take the garbage away but finally it will reach the open water were it will be much difficult to clean."

"Is an amazing place with a lot of animals and plants to see, but is not for everyone, to avoid damage of environment there's not fancy stores or a highway road.
The info centre sometimes is closed, there's a lack of info from government to the workers.
This is a place for enjoy the environment, take an adventure by you own with the local people."
