Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Uriarte Talavera for its exceptional craftsmanship, beautiful historic setting, and outstanding customer service. The opportunity to witness the traditional Talavera production process and even participate in workshops is a major draw. While prices can vary significantly, the quality and artistry are widely appreciated.
"Loved the talavera workshop at Uriarte. We also painted our own plates after seeing the artisans work."
Jessica Wu
"The establishment is very well set-up and the amount of talavera you'll see is inmense, the range is something 2-300 pesos to 2-3000 USD which is crazy in my point of view, but to each their own. We would have enjoyed a tour that they currently only have on weekdays which is a pity as some travellers can't make it M-F. On the other hand it has some very impressive artwork and if it matches your budget they are more than happy to pack them up for you."

"The craftsmanship is extraordinary, the designs absolutely beautiful, and I have never experienced such kind, sincere, and wonderful service. I was looking for a particular kind of ceramic, and when they did not have it in stock, they immediately set up a custom order for me, introduced me to the artisans who would be making it, gave me a tour of the workshop, and sent me pictures and videos of my ceramic in the process of being made. The service was so personable and above and beyond. Tremendous experience. I couldn’t be happier with the ceramic I bought and especially with the wonderful people who made it and helped me get it. Mariana was my contact and facilitated everything. I could not be more grateful to her."
