Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Parque La Plancha, calling it one of Mexico's most beautiful and fun parks, the 'Central Park' of Merida. They praise its modern, well-maintained facilities, diverse activities for all ages, and the integration of historical railway elements. Some minor points of contention include specific park rules and a desire for more recycling stations.
"I loved this Parque la Plancha. I saw several people doing lots os sport activities, walking, jogging, etc. Perfect for children and older people too. I stopped at a very cute souvenir store, all hand made items. Lots of birds and saw several bird nests too. It must be perfect at night because it was very hot."

"It’s very cool. Has various basic outdoors gyms, various super cool kid’s playgrounds, fountains, lots of walking areas with a roof! A food court…
Could definitely have recycling stations.
Some square minded type of things like wearing a helmet at the skatepark part is mandatory, you can’t “step on the grass” although yeah you can…
It’s very secure, clean, there’s a lot of staff. The vegetation and infrastructure are beautifully taken care of."

"Hands down one of the most beautiful and fun parks in all of Mexico, and the “Central Park” of Merida. Modern and well maintained kids playgrounds (5 to choose from!) a wading pool, bike paths, a lake and a good court with amazing options. You could spend multiple days here and not see everything it has to offer, including some old train cars and a train museum with a lot of history.
If you have kids, this is THE place to take them for 0 to low cost and form core memories."
