Anyone traveled to Sayulita recently and not get sick?

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Malpaso Jungle Trail for its beautiful, serene beach and the rewarding hike through lush jungle. It's ideal for those seeking peace and quiet away from crowds. However, the strong ocean currents require extreme caution, and the lack of amenities means thorough preparation is essential.
"Beautiful beach located North of Sayulita, about 45 mins walk from the main centre.
Visited on a saturday and there were very few people. Lots of shaded areas from the trees. There are no services or vendors so take drinks and food.
The sea is wild so be careful if you go in the water, the currents can get very strong.
If you want peace this is the right place to go to."

"Love the hike. I say it’s moderate, some up and down hills and you share trails with mountain bikers if coming from San Poncho. It’s about 45 minutes one way and I used google map which is fairly accurate. The trail ends on the map but you just have to keep on following the trail path.
Tips if you are entering from the left gate from hacienda San Poncho, walk about 5 minutes and when you see a fork, keep on left, go about another 20-30 minutes, when you see the second fork go to the right.
Beautiful and serene beach, almost empty when we went around 10am."

"The path to arrive here is beautiful. We got here around 6am and it was empty for us. The path is a little rocky and can be pet friendly. I recommend going before the crowds. Once you arrive to this beach it's absolutely ready for it to be your own!"
