What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary

"Parque Donaji and Benito Juarez are adjacent to each other, so you can visit both and get amazing views of Oaxaca. When you're down in the valley among the mezcal distilleries, agave, maguey and cacti, one tends to lose sight that you're surrounded by lush mountains and subalpine forests. This is a beautiful place to disconnect from the city. Whether a good hike, a meditation or finding a duende, this is a cool place to explore. Trails are well marked, maintained well, not much loose rock and no scrambling. Medium level of difficulty more or less. It's neat to see pines and oaks nestling up next to agave plants. I went on a Saturday and saw only 2 other groups on the trail. Lots of birds for birding fans. Sendero La Coronilla will take you up the mountain, deep into the valley. It's a 5km loop."
