Timing is Everything

To avoid crowds and experience the waterfall at its most powerful, aim for weekdays, especially Mondays, as weekends can get busy. Consider visiting during or after rainfall for the most impressive water flow.

What to Pack

Wear comfortable walking shoes as there are some inclines. Bring snacks and drinks, as while there are small stores, they can be pricier. A waterproof jacket might be useful if you plan to get close to the spray.

"This was my first time coming here and you can feel the nice cold water just hitting you almost. Its really nice, not a lot of people because I came here on a Monday, and theres some little stores to snacks, drinks, souvenirs, etc. Very beautiful though for sure. Definitely must visit this place on a non busy day which I would assume would be the weekdays? Im not sure because I dont live here."

Volatol

"Great place to be outdoors. The place include benches and places to grill. So dont be afraid to take food for an awsome cookout."

Cesar Hernandez

"Beautiful place, we witnessed it at time of drought. I hope they get rain soon. I'm pretty sure it'll look even more nice. U don't walk no more than 15 minutes to get to the waterfall and the incline is minimum. The bottom level is accessible but the top part is through stairs only"

Early morning or late afternoon often provides softer light, reducing harsh shadows. Midday sun can be strong, but the mist from the waterfall can create interesting effects. Instagram

A wide-angle lens is great for capturing the scale of the waterfall and the surrounding landscape. A tripod can help with long exposures to smooth out the water. Instagram

Use a faster shutter speed to freeze the water droplets, or a slower shutter speed with a tripod to create a silky water effect. A lens hood can help protect your lens from spray. Instagram

The footbridge offers a fantastic close-up perspective. For wider shots of the valley and the waterfall in context, explore the hiking trails leading up to it. Instagram

Experiment with aperture and shutter speed. A smaller aperture (higher f-number) for depth of field, and a slower shutter speed for motion blur of the water. Instagram
